I see them—the children, the orphans—singing, holding hands and moving in a circle, supporting one another, performing small everyday acts I have only heard about in stories. Four years ago, I visited the abandoned grounds of a foster home for the first time—a place where my grandfather grew up. Reclaimed by nature, quiet, it slowly began to whisper to me. This text is a sharing of processes, of small rituals that took place as I tried to establish a connection with a place deeply tied to my family.
