Abstract

Anna Nygren deploys neurodiverse sensing to shift the hegemony of the written word, offering poetic mis-steps in an  autoethnographic series of anecdotes. Reading becomes the event of reading aloud, dancing towards both animal and morphological kingdoms.

Author Biography

  • Anna Nygren, Gothenburg University, Sweden

    Anna Nygren is PhD student in literature at Åbo Akademi, Finland, and teaches literary composition at Gothenburg University, Sweden. Anna is also a writer and artist working multidisciplinary with text, textiles and other materials. Their artistic and academic interests span from neurodiversity and queer studies to poetical approaches to the more-than-human and ecocritical perspectives on art and literature.
